I fed my young mind on dungeons, dragons, warriors, and wizards. Most of my tweens and teens were spent in Middle-Earth, Krynn, Sanctuary, and Faerun. Later I started designing my own fantasy worlds, and I thought I was doing a proper job of it until I read The Silmarillion and A Song of Ice and Fire. To say I was humbled by these literary experiences would be an exquisite understatement. But these masterworks of fantasy worldbuilding also inspired me. In 2017 I started developing the fantasy world of Aia, and I doubt I’ll ever stop (it’s too addictive!). I hope to share Aia and its tales with you.

In addition to fantasy writing, I am also deeply interested in philosophy, history (especially military history), poetry, horror, Halloween, music, and painting (details from some of my paintings are scattered throughout this website).
